It's a Private Free Zone, hi-tech oriented,100 % tax exempted, conceived as a self-contained Smart Business City, integrating the concepts of International Business Park, Export Processing Zone, Back Office Relocating Center, Scientific and Technological Research & Development Zone ( Techno Park) and Advanced Telecommunications Zone with a teleport. At the same time, it is a real state development of 100 hectares.

Where is it located ?

Panama Teleport Smart Business City is being developed in the Republic of Panama, which is located right in the middle of the American Continent and serves as one of the key crossroads of the world. The Zone's site is located beside the landstrip of the Panama City International Airport, forty-five minutes from the Balboa Port on the pacific side, and one hour forty-five minutes from Cristobal Port on the Atlantic side.
Due to its location, Panama Teleport Smart Business City & Free Zone is one of the most strategic doors to the Pacific Rim and the Latin American markets. The zone is also a bridge to the European market.

The zone will have everything that is required of a city specially designed to support business activities in a highly competitive global market. This includes the complete infrastructure system (roads, water purification, power generation and distribution, telecommunications, telematic services, garbage processing, sewage treatment, etc.), residential area, hotel, hospital, school, training center, customs, restaurants, convention center, security system, intelligent buildings, specialized business support services, and so on. Panama Teleport, Corp., owner and promoter of the project, has the complete responsibility to develop each and every aspect, element, and factor involved.

Formally authorized by the Panamanian Government through the EPZ License Nº 3, Panama Teleport is already a free zone. The construction of the first step has been initiated. This step includes the zone access and the first block's infrastructures, nine (9) buildings prototype Alpha I ( three floors - 4500 m², total indoor area), five(5) buildings prototype Alpha II ( three floors - 7,134 m². indoor area), the initial phase of the power generation plant with 10 MW, and the initial phase of the telecommunication system with a 7.6m C. Band earth station and switch equipment.
